Lost and Found

Thank you so much for coming and singing at WMC this week. Many of my peers (I'm 18 by the way) wonder why I even like your style of music. Until lately, I hadn't even thought twice about it though I came up with 2 main reasons why I felt so blessed by your music.

Probably most importantly is that the words stick to my heart on a deeper level than many of the newer songs that we usually sing in church.

But the 2nd thing about your group that encouraged me was your age. (sounds odd doesn't it?) It is one thing to hear young people praising God with their talents and another to see adults, undoubtedly, having seen many hardships, still "running the trace and finishing strong"

God Bless!
Deborah

Dear Ken;

Thank you again for making our Supper Meeting a special event. We were blessed and trust that somebody's life was touched by ther music and your testimony Ken. We hope that your Christmas season will be filled with love, joy and peace which comes from the one whom we celebrate at this time of the year, Jesus Christ.

Mike

Hi, Ken!

I was delighted to see the article about your quartet in City Light News. I'm glad the group is doing so well. Please send me a copy of the latest CD, "Dead Men Walking" to the following address:

Dear Lost & Found

Do you remember back in mid Dec. when you came to our Church in Coaldale- Mennonite Bretheren- For the Christmas Banquet. I came and spoke to you after the Banquet and asked you which CD was your favorite because I had so much trouble picking one. You told me you liked the 1st one the best- "Looking Beyond". I just had to Email you and let you know how deeply I appreciate you all, and how profoundly your music touches my soul. I weep each and every time I listen to "Yes, I Know", "When He was On the Cross" and "The Sound of His Name". I start each day with those songs, and often end my day that way too.

Music is what draws me near to the Lord, nothing else quite stops me in my tracks as quickly as Southern Gospel and Old Hymns. That is why I am so thankful for all you put into your music. For me it is my ultimate connection with God. It is a joyful, thankful and soulful form of prayer. Those songs send me into my day being so thankful to our Lord and Savior, it prepares my heart for a day of enjoying God's goodnessand sharing it with others. I find myself singing at work and I love being able to share my joy in the Lord through song.

The other day one of the gals at work said, "Are you actually always happy and singing???" "How is that even possible?" and I answered without hesitation..."That is the way the Lord sends me out each day!", I have only been at this branch of Scotiabank for a week, so I don't know if she is a Christian, but I feel so blessed to live in a country where I am free to share with her the reason for my joy!! anyway, I don't have the words to express to you my appreciation. You are a part of my day each day and are in my Prayers.

Thank you and God Bless you.
Becky
